It will be little-to-none of that oil in the product. If it says, "For aromatherapy", go somewhere else. When in doubt, ask them, "Is it 100% of that oil with no other 'carrier oil', or are you 100% lying to me?" It should not say '100% PURE" it should say 100% of that oil. They are, generally, mixed with Olive Oil and have very little of the original oil in them. That does NOT mean it is 100% of that type of oil. Companies like to say things like "100% Natural, Pure and Therapeutic Grade".
I said Sage Oil plus Manuka because they don't seem to be as caustic, and burn you, as oils such as Tea Tree and Oregano can do. Only warning, there, would be, "Don't continually use any antibiotic (which is what I'd call the Sage/Manuka Oil) or you might create super-yeast strains that can't be killed by anything. It will always be safe no matter what you do or how much you use it. There is no warning about the clay mixture. At the very least, make sure you wash the area, then dry it well afterwards. It neutralizes the bleach to keep it from burning you. Also, always use the ACV to stop the action of the bleach afterwards. Just be careful with it and vary the amount of time you leave it on. If you don't want to use bleach, use 91% alcohol (ouch, but works) or just use the 50/50 ACV. However, you don't want to overdo the bleach or it will burn the skin.
Thus, the fact that bleach removes skin is all part of the solution. You want the bleach to kill the stuff, removing the dead skin, until you end up with only healthy skin. Bleach can dissolve skin, and is part of how it will get rid of the buildups of dead skin which comprise the edges of fissure. About 2 - 5 minutes if it is a 1 to 10 parts solution. That's 20 minutes if it is a 1 to 20 parts solution. Concerning letting the Dakin's Solution stay there for 20 minutes. It, oftentimes, gets mixed with bacteria too.Īn addendum. To the clay add 5 drops of Sage Oil, 10 drops of Jojoba Oil (closest to human sebum as it isn't really an oil, but a wax) and 4 drops of Manuka Oil. and put 1 teaspoon of it in a suitable container you get at a dollar store (throw away original contents) that's 1 1/4" around x 1" tall. but you've had this problem a long time and it won't go away, right? Buy Redmond Clay (Bentonite will do). Next part is what you do even if it isn't really bad. It will really sting (particularly if it is an open wound at this point). Next, take Apple Cider Vinegar with mother (unfiltered ACV) and mix it 50/50 with distilled water. Set the timer and let it stay there for 20 minutes.
